Baywinds West Palm Beach

South Florida is home to dozens of communities commonly referred to as 55+. Realtors know this as HOPA or housing for older persons. Generally speaking,  for a neighborhood to qualify as HOPA,  at  least one person residing in each home must be at least 55 years old or older, and at least 80% of the homes in the community must meet this requirement. Communities that are registered as HOPA are available in all price ranges and for all types of homes such as condominiums, villas, and single family homes.  Amenities can be as limited as a community pool to those with clubhouses akin to 5 star luxury resorts, complete with entertainment, spas services, onsite restaurants and more. Valencia's
